Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather. Practice safe sun protection! It’s true all year, but especially during the summer. At least 90% of all changes in skin conditions are due to sunlight exposure. The sun not only damages the DNA of skin cells but also inhibits the ability to repair skin. Use a full-spectrum sunscreen, and choose clothing, headgear, and eyewear with built-in UV protection. Check out our great selection of sunscreens.

What’s new?



I am thrilled to be able to once again supply the very popular and much loved décolletté pads. Signs of ageing are visible not only on the face but also on the chest area.
Calvet Cosmetics Décolletté Pads are designed to correct and prevent wrinkles brought about from sleeping on your side, ageing and sun damage. These are silicone adhesive pads that are stuck onto your cleavage before bedtime or 20-60 minutes any time of the day to help return chest skin to a more youthful and supple appearance. These reusable self-adhesive silicone pads may be washed without losing their adhesive quality. The pads usually last between 45-60 days depending on usage time.



Also available now are the new SilcSkin Facial Pads.

Tips - Can you benefit from wearing compression hosiery?



Most adults can benefit from compression hosiery regardless of age. Anyone who spends a great deal of time sitting behind a desk or standing up for extended periods may experience constriction of blood vessels and blood pooling in their legs and feet. They will find that graduated compression hosiery can help reduce the swelling, fatigue, and leg aches as their circulation get a boost from the hosiery. Athletes, particularly runners, find that knee-high compression hosiery improves performance and reduces recovery time as less fatigue is felt after a work-out. Frequent travellers can wear travel socks to help prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Many pregnant women develop venous problems, such as varicose veins and spider veins, and maternity hosiery can help prevent or minimize these problems.

All Jan Marini Factor A products have been discontinued and have been replaced by MD & Plus products that are not sold online and only available from nurse prescribers and doctors via cosmetic clinics. Apparently, this is a legal requirement stipulated on their EU Toxicology certificate.
