As many of you may know, I'm a huge fan of Revision Skincare, so when I got the chance to review my favourite brand and ingredient, I jumped at the chance.

Vitamin C is an essential component of any skincare regimen that has the capability of addressing many different types of skin concerns. From fine lines and wrinkles to dark spots, texture issues or even acne - vitamin C was the most Googled skincare ingredient of 2021!

 

When it comes to skincare, not all vitamin C formulations are equal. 

Medical grade Vitamin C serums are formulated to penetrate the dermal layers, so they have a high enough percentage to be effective and stable.

 

Revision C+ correcting complex contains 30% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (THD), a highly stable form of vitamin C capable of penetrating deep into the skin.

My morning skincare regime consists of applying one pump of this odourless milky lotion on cleansed skin. Revision Skincare C+ Correcting Complex 30% can be used either once or twice daily. 

 

Although I was initially concerned about irritation or breakouts due to the high vitamin C concentration, I did not experience any negative side effects. This was likely due to Vitamin E present in the formulation, which helps to moisturise and preserve the skin barrier.

 

I have been using vitamin C in serum rather than cream form for some time now, but surprisingly, I quite like this texture.

 

Many vitamin serums can be sticky or have a strong odour, but Revision Skincare C+ Correcting Complex 30% is a lightweight lotion with no fragrance. This product feels hydrating and absorbs into the skin easily without leaving any greasy residue.

 

It has only been about a month since I've been using Revision Skincare C+ Correcting Complex 30%; however I can already see an improvement in my pigmentation. This treatment has given my skin a much brighter appearance, and I look forward to seeing more results.

 

Furthermore, I love that it shields me from the harmful effects of blue light, as I spend a great deal of time in front of my laptop.

 

I was not sure if I would like a vitamin C facial skincare product in a pump format, but I don't mind it.

 

It looks like I will be switching my Skinceuticals C E Ferulic for Revision Skincare C+ Correcting Complex 30% in the near future!
