Revision Skincare Vitamin C Lotion 30% - Product Review

Revision Skincare Vitamin C Lotion 30%

Vitamin C is an essential step within my morning routine and has been now for a long time! The hero ingredient is power-packed full of skin benefits such as reducing inflammation and redness, reducing pigmentation, and promoting collagen production to create and maintain an overall more uniform, youthful complexion. Pair that with a broad spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen and you've got yourself the ultimate skin protection. However, when it comes to finding the correct Vitamin C for you, there are a variety of different types which impact the effectivity and potency of the end result on your skin. The good news is that Revision Skincare uses THD Ascorbate, which is the most stable and effective form of Vitamin C available on the market. Vitamin C is renowned for oxidizing quickly and being unstable so although this product may be a little pricey, you can guarantee that you're getting exactly what you pay for.

If you aren't familiar with using Vitamin C then it is to be used in the morning after cleansing and before moisturising. Revision Skincare Vitamin C Lotion 30%, as the title suggests, is a lovely light consistency with a lotion texture and has no obvious fragrance or scent. I have a slight combination skin type and find that a little went a long way and it absorbed almost immediately with no sticky after feeling. It didn't cause me any breakouts at all and never caused any irritation. It leaves a beautiful light-reflecting finish on the skin and bonus ingredients of Vitamin E & Squalane adds a boost of moisture too.

Vitamin C Lotion 30% falls right in the middle of the three Vitamin C serums created by Revision Skincare. It is a great all-rounder for absolutely everybody however I would start with 15% if you are new to Vitamin C and never used it before and then climb the antioxidant ladder as (and if) you feel necessary. The next step up and the most superior formula is C+ Correcting Complex 30%. Although the same percentage as Lotion 30%, it is not always a case of the higher the percentage the better the product, it is more about the formula. This powerful blend contains a unique, patent-pending technology for the ultimate daily shot of Vitamin C!

All in all, I have really enjoyed using Revision Skincare Vitamin C Lotion 30%. I am excited to try more from the brand now that it is available to purchase in the UK at Dermacare Direct. If it is in your budget then definitely give it a go next time you need to replenish your antioxidant!
