An antioxidant in your skincare regimen is a must. Along with a sunscreen of course!
Antioxidants are the first and best line of defence for your skin against ageing. Science has proven that exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays (UVA and UVB rays), smoke and air pollution generates harmful free radical molecules in the skin that break down collagen leading to signs of premature ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, pigmentation and skin cancer. Scientists calculate that free radicals account for approximately 90% of perceived skin ageing. Most people are unaware that harmful UVA can penetrate through glass and clothes and most sunscreens do not protect you against UVA. Antioxidants protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays and neutralise free radicals, so not only do they help prevent the damage to the skin’s support structure but they also prevent the visible signs of ageing by stimulating collagen.

Skinceuticals are world renowned for producing the highest quality antioxidants and dermatologists recommend them very often.
Phloretin CFâ„¢ is a preventive and corrective topical antioxidant treatment.

After five years of extensive research, Skinceuticals developed this patent-pending breakthrough technology combining the newly-discovered, broad-range power of phloretin with vitamin C and ferulic acid in a biodiverse formulation to divide and conquer sources of damage at every level.

2% phloretin: Neutralises free radicals, accelerates cell turnover and reduces the production of unwanted pigment.

10% L-ascorbic acid: Neutralises free radicals and promotes collagen synthesis.

0.5% ferulic acid: This plant-based antioxidant neutralises free radicals, inhibits UV-induced melanogenesis, and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Benefits:

- Diminishing age spots and other forms of hyperpigmentation
- Accelerating cell removal
- Improving laxity
- Retexturising skin

Suitable for oily, problematic, pigmentation and normal skin

I have been using Skinceuticals Phloretin CF™ for over a year and I wouldn’t use anything else.
I am in my late thirties and haven’t had any major skincare issues. My main concerns are protection and preventing premature ageing, and obviously to keep my skin in shape for as long as possible!

This product has improved the quality of my skin. It is a light weight, fast absorbing serum that has helped with brightening and slight tightening of my skin. CE ferulic was too heavy for me and brought out breakouts.
It is a strong product, so only use a few drops of this serum once a day after cleansing, and then follow with sunscreen. I have never experienced any irritation and I even apply it under my eyes. What I have noticed is it that it does take a while before you notice any results, so please don't give up!

Skinceuticals Phloretin CFâ„¢ may appear expensive, but there not many antioxidants that can be applied only once a day, so it does last a lot longer than most antioxidant serums.
It is one product that really is worth every penny!

Skinceuticals Phloretin CF is available in a gel form or a serum.
