One month of the New Year has gone by already. You know that most of your New Year's resolutions are usually forgotten by February!
If you could keep one, make sure it is to wear sunscreen every single day, even in Winter.
Wearing sunscreen will not only protect you from skin cancer but will also prevent you from getting an uneven skin tone and will make your skin look younger too.

Our big news this month is….


We have a new exciting brand on the website called Hydropeptide. It is also animal-cruelty free & paraben-free. As with any skincare, regime results take time, so I will keep you updated.
The most popular Hydropeptide product is ‘Eye’. It is a very lightweight cream that is effective in reducing the appearance of dark circles and other discolouration in the eye area, thanks to its light-diffusing properties. Also popular is the Cellular Transformation Serum.

Rolling back the years!


Needling has become a highly effective, safe, non-invasive & affordable alternative to medical peels, laser & surgery. Even the stars of Hollywood are using cosmetic micro-needling to give them a youthful and healthy glow.
Micro-needling helps to improve everything from stretch marks, cellulite, sun damage, scars and acne scars to wrinkles. It is also said to be useful in dramatically increasing absorption of topically applied skin preparations. The results are achieved in a natural way by stimulating the skin to regenerate and repair, forming new collagen and producing healthy new skin cells for that flawless, radiant appearance.
Micro-needling is available as a series of treatments in some clinics, but there are also units available for home use.
If you have acne scars or sun damage, my advice would be to get a course of micro-needling treatments in a clinic first (longer needles) and then to purchase a home-use device to maintain the results. This way, the clinic can also show you the proper way to safely carry out the home treatments. Home-use devices are very effective for rejuvenating the skin and for helping to absorb products into the skin better. Far better results are seen if used with vitamin A and Vitamin C or a Growth Factor serum.

The process of skin remodelling can continue for several weeks or months after each micro-needling roller session, but visible changes can be seen within a week or two. However, it really can depend on the age and condition of the skin.
