Quasar Clear Rayz is an at home device equipped with both red and blue LED lights that work to clear up acne and prevent future outbreaks.
The light technology used in this hand-held device is the same as what you’d find at a dermatologist’s office. It was created by the same team of scientists, engineers and designers of the Baby Quasar line.
Research shows that blue LED light activates naturally occurring chemicals to combat the bacteria which are at the root of acne breakouts. Red LED light penetrates deep into the skin to combat the inflammation that accompanies the breakouts
It’s safe (and has been cleared by the FDA), there are no side effects and it’s really easy to use. The Clear Rayz system is a small (fits in your palm), two-sided device that you plug into the wall; it’s equipped with a red LED on one side and a blue LED on the other.
Plug the power adapter into a power outlet. Press the power button to activate the unit. Pressing the button once will activate the RED light; pressing the button twice will activate the BLUE light. Press a third time to turn the unit off. You may choose to treat a single area, or the entire face (or chest, back, etc.) If treating the entire face, divide the area into four sections.
Move the Clear Rayz unit slowly over the area being treated, keeping it pressed gently against the skin. The unit will be warm with use but will not harm you.
Apply light directly to each area you are treating, about the size of your palm. When using the RED, after 7 ½ minutes, a tone will sound and the device will shut off indicating for you to move to the next section. Press the button to continue your treatment. When using the BLUE, after 5 minutes, a tone will sound and the device will shut off indicating for you to move to the next section. Press the button to continue your treatment. After your treatment, use a soft cloth to wipe the surface of the hand piece and lens that touches your face.
The recommended usage is three to five times per week
