DermaTx Microdermabrasion Brighten System - Product Review

Microdermabrasion has become the most popular, safe and effective non-surgical way to help reduce acne scars, fine wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and enlarged pores, and requires no downtime.
Young, healthy skin renews itself regularly which is why girls in their teens and twenties tend to have such sickeningly dewy, glowing skin!
As we move into our thirties and forties, that process slows down and dead skin cells hang around on the surface, causing our complexion to look grey and dull.
Microdermabrasion is an effective exfoliation treatment to remove those dead cells from the top layer of the skin, which produces a more even tone and texture, lessening some of the early signs of ageing.

Tool + brighten cream

DermaTx®, the Complete Resurfacing System - Comprises of a DermaTx® Microdermabrasion Cream and the Dermatx® Cleanse and Exfoliate 2-in-1 hand-held electronic tool which utilises sonic vibrating technology.

The device comes with a cleansing brush attachment (to be used with your chosen cleanser)and is proven to cleanse up to 4x more effectively than manual cleansing alone.

Along with the cleansing attachment, there is a microdermabrasion foam attachment to apply your chosen DermaTx Microdermabrasion Cream, appropriate for your particular skin type/condition. To be used once or twice a week.

Combining sonic micro-pulses with the corundum crystals in the DermaTx Microdermabrasion Creams provides a superior microdermabrasion treatment, and allows the ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin.

The microdermabrasion treatment creams contain professional grade corundum (aluminium oxide) crystals – the same as those used in microdermabrasion machines used in dermatology clinics.

The products are unique in that each variant has been specifically designed with formulations containing scientifically proven active ingredients to target certain skin types:

Brighten (with SABIWHITE®) – Designed for uneven skin tone, sun-damaged and ageing skin.
Clarify (with 2% Salicylic acid) – Designed for acne, oily skin and enlarged pores.
Rejuvenate (with Antioxidants) – Designed for normal to sensitive skin.

As I am in my early forties and concerned about ageing, and I do have some areas of pigmentation, I tend to use the brightening cream.

If your skin concerns are a mixture of more than one of those targeted (e.g. ageing skin and enlarged pores) you can use one cream first (Brighten)and then alternate with another cream (Clarify) the next time a few days later.

I find the treatment really easy and quick to do, and normally, as a working mum I barely have time to brush my hair in the morning!
I simply apply the cream in the morning, work it in using the device for 2 minutes, then jump into the shower and rinse it off.

I feel that it a great additional treatment that really enables my daily skincare products to be absorbed more easily into my skin and helps my skin cell turnover.

I really like this treatment, both for exfoliating and improving the general appearance of my skin.

I love the way my skin feels after each treatment. It feels soft, clean & brighter looking.

I have also seen a real improvement in my pigmentation in such a short space of time.

I think the DermaTx Complete Resurfacing System is a great at-home microdermabrasion system both for price and results and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

And don’t forget to apply sunscreen daily to protect that nice new skin!
