Step 3 - Treatments For Rosacea

Unfortunately there is no known cure for rosacea, but with self help measures and treatment products it is possible to keep the condition under control. There may even be times where your symptoms improve and you can stop treatment temporarily.

Each individual will know the triggers that cause a flare up. These may include include alcohol, hot or spicy foods, weather changes,emotional stress and hot environments so whenever possible these situations should be avoided and a high factor sunscreen worn in sunny weather

For mild rosacea, it is best to try topical medications first. You will usually need to apply these topical treatments once or twice a day.
