SkinCeuticals Metacell Renewal B3 - Product Review

Metacell Renewal B3 comes in a nice frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser to protect its ingredients from light and air exposure.

It contains a high percentage of niacinamide (5%). Niacinamide has research supporting its ability to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation from sun-damage.

It is also combined with 2.5% tightening tri-peptide concentrate and 15% glycerin which help to improve the appearance of early photo-ageing.
Although it is marketed as a treatment for "early" photo-ageing , niacinamide has many benefits for skin of any age. Niacinamide is known to be very good for discolouration and inflammation.

The actual product does feel amazing when applied. I love the way it just glides onto my face.

It is a gel-lotion formula which has a silky feel, is very light, absorbs quickly and has no overpowering odour. It is not greasy or sticky.

I was also impressed with how little is needed to use.

Although I haven't being using it for very long, I have noticed that my skin is a lot smoother.

I use it both day and night. I am hopeful that with continuous use, my sun spots will fade.

To sum it up - Pretty good lightweight moisturiser!
