Our Favourite Under Eye Masks

Our favourite under-eye masks to apply during an at-home pamper session

There is nothing that we enjoy more than spending a Sunday evening at home, relaxing, indulging in some of our favourite skincare and, spending a little bit of extra time on ourselves. Of course, there is always a face mask involved – sometimes a sheet mask, sometimes a traditional cream face mask but who also extends that to their eyes and gives them a little bit of extra TLC at the same time too?

Alternatively, whilst getting ready for an exciting evening out and applying your make-up, why not treat your tired under eyes to a quick eye mask so that they look brighter, hydrated, and plump all night long? Any makeup applied underneath the eye area will look much better, plus another bonus, any eye shadow that you’re applying and may fall out will get caught on the pads rather than ruining your make-up – a win, win situation!

It is an area often missed by many of us, but, would you still forget it if we told you that the extremely delicate area under your eyes is ten times thinner than the rest of your facial skin containing fewer (well, next to none) oil glands and so, as we age, our under eyes will start to show signs of ageing a lot sooner than anywhere else due to a loss of elasticity, collagen and moisture. This also results in an increase of puffiness, dark circles and fine lines.

Lucky for you, we have put a number of under-eye masks to the test and decided upon our ultimate favourites.....

SilcSkin Eye Pads

Best For Fine Lines And Wrinkles

Available exclusively, at Dermacare Direct, these under-eye masks have been created using 100% medical-grade silicone meaning that they are completely hygienic to reuse for up to 30 days! With SilcSkin, there is no need for additional anti-wrinkle creams, simply apply before bed and then wake up amazed at the difference – younger, youthful-looking under eyes overnight! It is no surprise that SilcSkin is the brand of choice for many makeup artists, dermatologists and skincare professionals too.

Hydropeptide Polypeptide Collagen + Eye Masks

Best For Puffy Under Eyes

If you’ve woken up looking (and feeling) like you’ve had 1 hours sleep rather than your usual 8 then these masks are a pretty good back up to have! If you didn’t feel awake before using these, let these masks gently hug your eye contour and allow the cooling sensation you feel immediately upon application to help. Crammed full with Peptides, you can also expect a plumper, firmer under eye too.

Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Power Brightening Hydra-Gel Eye Patches

Best For Brightening Under The Eyes

If you suffer from dark circles or dull under-eyes then this is for you. Not only is the key ingredient THD Ascorbate famous for its brightening properties but it is also 50X more powerful and stable than traditional Vitamin C alone. You probably also know of caffeine for making you feel awake mentally but it also has the same brilliant benefits when used in skincare too. You can find these eye masks loaded with both of those power ingredients.

MZ Skin Anti-Pollution Illuminating Eye Masks

Best For Detoxifying

Fight back against environmental harm, stress, UV damage, and inflammation within 15 minutes with these mighty masks. A strong cocktail of Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, and Liquorice Root Extract paves the way, for rejuvenating the fragile eye shape. Sit back, relax and let them get to work!
