I've been using Dr. Barbara Sturms Calming Serum along with her Face Cleanser, Glow Drops, Face Cream and Sun Drops SPF 50 and so far I've been really impressed. The Calming Serum has a very light, milky consistency that just sinks in effortlessly.
The plant-based complex of cardiospermum, echium and sunflower help to rebalance and calm irritated skin, ideal for reducing any redness. The key ‘super plant’ active used by Dr. Sturm across the range is Purslane, which activates the skin’s own antioxidant system to calm inflammation and protect sensitive cell membranes against free radical attack.
Since using it over a period of time now I've noticed my skin has felt much calmer and less red than it is usually around this time of year. You really don't need to use much of this serum and for an oiler skin I think it would probably provide enough hydration. As my skin is generally on the dry side I've been following with the beautiful Face Cream for extra hydration but both are lasting me ages!
I know they say not to judge a book by its cover but the packaging to me is just beautiful, I love the sleek and minimalistic look! I've basically these past weeks become a massive Dr.Sturm fan and can see why all the celebs love her products..
