Sunscreen is not just for summer, so choosing the right sunscreen is important as you need to wear it daily & all year round.

Simply follow my tips to help you find your perfect sunscreen...

Choose a sunscreen with “broad spectrum” protection
Protect against both UVA and UVB rays

Make sure your sunscreen has a sun protection factor (SPF) 30 or higher.

If you suffer from pigmentation it is important you are applying a higher SPF.
Protect & help treat pigmentation all in one!

If you have sensitive skin choose a mineral/physical sunscreen
Some chemicals found in sunscreens can cause skin irritation, so avoid chemicals and choose a mineral spf.

Antioxidants or better sun protection
Antioxidants boost the effectiveness of your sunscreen and ensure maximum protection, while also repairing any skin damage that may have been caused.
Antioxidants neutralise the free radical damage caused by exposure to the sun. You can either choose a sunscreen with antioxidants or alternatively, you can use an antioxidant serum before applying your SPF.

Choose the right texture for you

If you have oily skin choose a gel, mineral or a light weight sunscreen that won't clog pores.

For a drier or a mature skin type choose a cream or a sunscreen with added hydrating ingredients like HA.

If you like a simple morning routine why not try a tinted sunscreen to double up as a foundation & sunscreen
