Zenmed L-Ascorbic Booster Serum - Product Review

zenmed vit c

Everyone benefits from Vitamin C in the morning.  It has to be my favourite skincare ingredient as it does so much.
It's both protecting & correcting, which is why I love it so much.
It is essential for all skin types, concerns & all ages.
It has so many skin benefits from environmental protection to its anti-inflammatory benefits to its brightening & anti-aging results.
Whatever your skin concern is, it needs Vitamin C.  Rosacea benefits hugely for its anti-inflammatory properties and helping reduce the redness and swelling that comes with acne.
Vitamin C works to break down pigmentation & also preventing further pigmentation. I could go on and on!
Whether you are aged 20 or 60 you need to be using Vitamin C  and don't forget to follow it with sunscreen.

ZENMED - L-Ascorbic Booster Serum

This potent, amplified Vitamin C serum works especially well on sun damage such as age spots and freckles, helping improve uneven skin tone and dullness. Helps visibly improve environmental damage and skin appears to glow, looking more volumized and refreshed. Great for loss of volume in the cheek and undereye areas. Can be used by all skin types.

Key ingredients:

- Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: It helps to protect the skin from UV rays. It is the best ingredient for skin brightening and lightening, and collagen production. It is an effective antioxidant.
- Hydroxyethylcellulose: It is a common component for the skincare formulation. It works as an emulsion stabilizer, binder, viscosity-increasing agent, and a film former.
- Organic Aloe Vera Gel: It has moisturizing properties that help to alleviate dry and itchy skin. It also has anti-aging properties and antioxidants which help in removing wrinkles from the face.

Review :

I usually go for a Vitamin C serum rather than a cream or lotion formula.
Zenmed L-Ascorbic Booster Serum is more of a lotion than a serum. It's easy to apply, absorbs easily, no sticky or tacky feeling afterward. Very little scent nothing to really notice.
It contains additional hydrating ingredients like aloe vera & hyaluronic acid, which I like as I normally apply a HA serum after my vitamin C.
I have been using it for about a month and I can say my skin feels smoother, brighter, and more even in tone.
I think it's a good price for a cosmeceutical vitamin C and it will last a while as you are only applying it in the morning.
I was surprised that I would like this serum, but I really did.
