what ingredients in my skincare regime are not safe to use during my pregnancy?

ANSWER:

Because some topical ingredients get absorbed into the bloodstream, there are some you want to avoid
It tends to be the more powerful and stronger concentrations that we need to be careful about during pregnancy.
The two ingredients that are best to avoid are retinol(vitamin A) and Salicylic acid (BHA’s)
Although both ingredients have not been shown to cause problems in their topical form in pregnant women, but in its oral form.
Doctors are just being cautious by recommending that pregnant women avoid the topical forms, but to be on the safe side you are still best to avoid.
