My Review:

Lightweight and easy to use, SkinCeuticals Phyto A+ Brightening Treatment is a brightening moisturiser designed to enhance the texture, clarity and overall radiance of the skin.

The key ingredients of 2% alpha arbutin, 3% azelaic acid and 5.75% phyto-botanical blend help to achieve these desirable results.

A variety of skin concerns can be addressed with this product, including hyper-pigmentation and acne, as well as inflammatory conditions like rosacea.

Skin pigmentation and dryness are my particular concerns rather than oiliness or combination skin, so I was eager to try this new product as an alternative to retinol to try to achieve more radiant and smooth skin.

SkinCeuticals Phyto A+ Brightening Treatment is quite a lightweight moisturiser, so I chose to use it as a serum rather than a moisturiser.

It is fine to use it in the morning only, or both morning and night. Because the product is very light and layers perfectly under my sunscreen, I used it every day as well as at night making it ideal for every day usage.

However at night, I felt the need to apply a Hyaluronic Acid serum as well to provide additional moisture, as the Phyto A+ wasn't providing enough hydration on its own.

This lightweight moisturiser is perfectly suited for those with blemish-prone, oily or combination skin types due to its light texture.

The gel-like texture is absorbed quickly into the skin, and although it did feel slightly tacky after applying, it was fine once I had followed with my SPF. While it's still early with the product, I can already feel that my skin is smoother and brighter.
My overall impression of the product is positive, and I am looking forward to furthering the benefits with extended usage.

SkinCeuticals Phyto A+ Brightening Treatment performed really well in clinical trials, with patients reporting an overall decrease of post-blemish marks by 20% on average, improvement in rough skin texture by 19%, and reduction of pore-clogging surface oil by 28%.

The only negative feedback from me would be that I went through the product a lot faster than other similar products, so a larger bottle would be better!
