iS Clinical - Andrea's Product Reviews

iS Clinical CLEANSING COMPLEX

RESURFACING, ANTI-ACNEIC, DEEP CLEANSING

BENEFITS:

- Deep cleanses without drying

- Minimises pore size

- Helps control acne breakouts

- Smoothes and softens

- Gently resurfaces

My review:

In my opinion, this has got to be the best facial cleanser for removing all dirt and make-up, whilst gently encouraging cell turnover.

It is formulated with natural sources of alpha hydroxy acids, so can be used to remove all make-up, including eye make-up.

Cleansing Complex is a balanced formulation of bio-nutrients, antioxidants, soothing and healing ingredients, and is truly a cleanser for everyone, even for the most sensitive skin types.

The gel-like texture is very light with a watery consistency, and only a very small amount is required so the product will last a long while.

Cleansing Complex has a nice subtle scent and doesn't lather up a lot.

After cleansing, my skin is left soft and smooth, and feels very clean without stripping the skin and drying it out.

Because this cleanser is a treatment, a toner and a  make-up remover all in one, it means that only one product is required, so it works out to be very cost effective.

This cleanser is definitely a winner for me and makes me want to try out other products from the brand!

iS Clinical PRO-HEAL SERUM ADVANCED+

HEALING, ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, SUPER ANTIOXIDANT

BENEFITS:

- AdvancedL-ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

- Helps reduce redness and inflammation

- Provides UV photo-protection

- Provides extremely powerful antioxidant protection

My product review:

Another amazing product from iS Clinical!

As I suffer with pigmentation I chose to use the Pro-Heal Vitamin C Serum instead of the Super Serum Advanced+ due to the added brightening & retinol ingredients.

The serum has a very light watery consistency which is not oily, and a small amount goes a very long way.

It is instantly absorbed into the skin and there is no stickiness after applying, so it is a great serum to layer under other products.

There isn’t really any kind of smell to it, and I did not experience any issues with irritation or breakouts.

I really love the Pro-Heal serum and dare I say it, I prefer it over my usual SkinCeuticals Vitamin C which I have been using for a long while now.

Looks like I will be sticking with the iS Clinical vitamin C serum from now on!

iS Clinical EXTREME PROTECT SPF 30

HYDRATING + DNA REPAIR + ANTIOXIDANTS + SPF

BENEFITS:

- Provides unprecedented multi-level broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection

- Clinically proven to protect and repair DNA utilising Extremozyme® technology (including intrinsic DNA damage)

- Helps protect and repair collagen

- Provides antioxidant-rich protective barrier

- Reduces erythema (sunburn)

- Hydrates, smoothes and softens

Sunscreen review:

This is a great sunscreen which offers a lot more than just sun protection. It also provides effective hydration so no moisturiser is required, and is also anti-ageing due to its collagen and DNA repair abilities!

The Extreme Protect has a light texture which absorbs well, is not greasy and does not leave a white cast after application.

I’m not sure if I would use it daily only because I prefer a tinted sunscreen, but I would certainly take it on holiday with me for the ultra protection provided to prevent my pigmentation from appearing.

As this is not just a sunscreen, it would be perfect for anyone that wants a multi-functional skin care product.

I highly recommend the EXTREME PROTECT SPF 30 and the iS Clinical brand.

There are many positives with this brand. Their serums are available in 2 different sizes: 15ml & 30ml, so there is no need to splash out on the larger 30ml sizes in order to try them first.

Uniquely, iS Clinical is the only brand where all the products in their range are safe to use during pregnancy.

Even the products containing salicylic acid and retinol are safe to use as they are botanically derived.

Pregnancy can come with a few skincare challenges of its own like breakouts & pigmentation, so it is great to be able to use proven and effective ingredients to address these.

I will be sure to be reviewing more products from the iS Clinical range….so stay tuned!
