H3O Hydration is designed to optimise hydration throughout the day and supply an array of antioxidants to tackle the stresses you place on your body daily. Thanks to the inclusion of ionic electrolytes fluid are encouraged to leave the intestines and enter every cell in the body. All cells can only operate optimally when they are well hydrated, not only that, hydrated cells are firm and plump. Ionic electrolytes are essential as they regulate how and where fluids are distributed throughout the body, thus controlling fluid passage across all cell membranes, transporting nutrients into cells, and waste out. One of the minerals included, calcium, is crucial to the maintenance of healthy skin functions including sebum regulation, lipid barrier function, cellular turnover and anti-oxidant production it is vital for supple, glowing, and beautiful skin is to be maintained.

Directions: Drink one to two servings daily. Put one heaped dessert spoon and fill with 300 - 400ml of water, whisk with a fork and drink. You could use a small blender or shaker for mixing.

Why do we need H3O?

We talk of the body being 80% water, that might be true as a baby but as we get older it may diminish to as little as 50%, If you are thirsty, at this point you are already dehydrated by around 1 litre of water.

Have you ever found that even if you do try to top up levels of water you just pee it straight out, once you are dehydrated the body thinks it’s doing the right thing by not allowing water through the stomach wall. When this happens, cells can’t operate at their maximum potential and have been linked to degenerative disease. H3O is hypotonic and is of a lower concentration than blood so it allows for the speedy transmission of electrolytes and minerals through the stomach wall and into the bloodstream. The lower concentration then equally allows for passage across cell walls until there is equilibrium and the cells are truly and effectively hydrated. This flow across the cell wall is helped by the electrolytes. Electrolytes play a critical role in almost every metabolic reaction in the body.

Cells operate more effectively, become more healthy, and are able to metabolise waste when they are hydrated.

Key Ingredients:

Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic acid (HA)has often been called the fountain of youth, it can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water and provides a cushion filler between the cells. Scientific studies have shown that Hyaluronic acid improves skin hydration and helps to stimulate the production of collagen. It has several other key properties, playing a key part in joint health, supporting the vitreous fluid in the eyes, and helping in the reduction gum disease.

Inulin:

Inulin has many health benefits. Inulin increases calcium absorption and possibly magnesium absorption, while promoting the growth of intestinal bacteria. In terms of nutrition, it is considered a form of soluble fibre and is sometimes categorized as a prebiotic. Due to the body's limited ability to process fructans, inulin has minimal impact on blood sugar. It is considered suitable for diabetics and potentially helpful in managing blood sugar-related illness.

Ionic minerals:

Ionic minerals play a critical role in almost every metabolic reaction in the body. The minerals in H30 are ionic and hypotonic. Our formulation consists of potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium lactate and sodium citrate.

Trans-Resveratrol:

A powerful antioxidant naturally sourced from grapes, certain berries and various plants to help protect them against environmental stresses. It is found naturally in red wine, hence the belief that red wine can actually have a positive effect on health. Our super strength Trans-Resveratrol (98% extract) is a highly available form of Resveratrol which is extremely well absorbed by the human body when compared to other forms of Resveratrol. Several studies suggest that the Trans-Resveratrol in red wine may contribute to the low incidences of coronary heart disease in France. As an antioxidant Trans-Resveratrol has been shown to be more effective than Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Beta Carotene.

It has also been suggested that Trans-Resveratrol can help increase muscular endurance by increasing the number of mitochondria in the muscle. This can go some way to help burn more calories during exercise and reduce weight gain
