This anti-aging cream is designed to help correct the visual signs of photoaging and prevent future damage through antioxidant effects and broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreens. The Alpha Hydroxy formulation works on all layers of the skin to enhance cell turnover and smooth the surface.

Directions:

Ideal for first time Alpha Hydroxy Acid users with non-sensitive skin. Apply to face and neck daily, following cleansing. Apply additional sunscreen as needed for prolonged outdoor activities.

If you have been using NeoStrata Ultra Smoothing Cream for at least three months and have been tolerating it well, you may want to increase the strength of the Glycolic Acid treatment to NeoStrata Face Cream Plus which contains 15% Glycolic Acid. If you can tolerate this higher strength product, it will be even more beneficial.

Precaution: Products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) may cause initial flaking, tingling, or irritation to the skin. For some, this may be part of the normal resurfacing process. This generally improves as the skin ‘gets used’ to the treatment. AHA products may be introduced with less frequent use, and application can be increased as the skin acclimates. At first start by gradually introducing one AHA product at a time into your skincare regime.
Discontinue use if you have severe redness, itching, burning, rash, swelling, or blistering.

It is recommended to apply sunscreen daily when using products that contain Alpha Hydroxy acids (AHA's).
