Jan Marini Physical Protectant SPF30

The ultimate in pure-physical sunscreen wearability! Delivers broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection with added oil control and antioxidants.

I am not normally a fan of mineral/physical sunscreens as they tend to be too light for me and not hydrating enough, but I was willing to give it a go.

Verdict:

A creamy lotion, spreads easily, no smell and no white cast is left on the skin.

It dries very quickly, within a few seconds and becomes completely matte.

A very sheer tint to the cream, so not enough coverage for me.

I would say best suited for sensitive and normal to combination skin. Also great for oily, acne and rosacea acne-prone skin types.

It contains antioxidants, so it’s great as a daytime moisturiser/sunscreen.

Very good high protection which I like - in fact it is a SPF45, but due to EU laws it can only state SPF30 on the tube.

 

I think I would use this sunscreen again. I would use it in the summer months when sunscreen needs to be re-applied regularly, rather than a sunscreen I would apply just in the mornings.
