Powered by red clover, a skin-balancing botanical renowned for its powerful pore-tightening and sebum-controlling properties. Also blended with effective hydroxy acids: salicylic acid, lactic acid, and mandelic acid, the refreshing cleanser minimises the appearance of pores and reduces shine to improve the look and feel of your complexion. With glycerin to hydrate, this pore-refining cleanser will leave skin feeling hydrated and smooth; never dry. The purifying cleanser easily washes away to leave pores appearing practically invisible for a complexion that is radiant, decongested, and undeniably refined.
Key Ingredients:
Red Clover Extract – An exceptional botanical pore minimiser, red clover extract helps reduce sebum production, enhances cellular turnover and acts as a natural astringent to minimise the appearance of pores
L-Mandelic Acid – A softly exfoliating AHA with BHA power, chirally correct mandelic acid is able to work both on the surface of the skin and within pores for a deep but gentle exfoliation
L-Lactic Acid – A gentle AHA that softly exfoliates the upper layers of skin, while deeply hydrating for a nourished and cared for complexion
Salicylic Acid – Decongesting and exfoliating from within the pore, this BHA breaks down the clogged oil and skin cells that can lead to blemishes and blocked pores
Glycerin – A natural humectant, glycerin traps water within the skin to leave it soft and supple
Size: 150ml
Directions: Apply a small amount of cleanser into the palm of the hand and massage into moistened face and neck morning and evening. Gently remove by splashing with water and pat face dry. Follow with your favourite Medik8 serum and moisturiser.
Precaution: Do not use it if pregnant - this product contains salicylic acid.
Products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) may cause initial flaking, tingling, or irritation to the skin. For some, this may be part of the normal resurfacing process. This generally improves as the skin ‘gets used’ to the treatment. AHA products may be introduced with less frequent use, and application can be increased as the skin acclimates. First, start by gradually introducing one AHA product at a time into your skincare regime.
Discontinue use if you have severe redness, itching, burning, rash, swelling, or blistering.
It is recommended to apply sunscreen daily when using products that contain Alpha Hydroxy acids (AHA's).
