Kelo-cote: How to use?

To use Kelo-Cote, apply a very thin layer to the clean, dry scar twice a day and let it air dry for 4-5 minutes. Do not rub it in. If it has not dried within 5 minutes, gently remove the excess. After it dries, you may apply sunblock, makeup, or cover it with clothing or pressure garments.
For Kelo-Cote to be effective, you should not apply it over other creams, ointments, or lotions. The product is a self-drying silicone gel that forms a protective, waterproof barrier on the skin, and other products can prevent it from working correctly.
You can use Kelo-Cote around the eye area, but you must avoid direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. The gel may cause temporary stinging if it enters the eyes, but it will not cause harm.
KELO-COTE is suitable for use on children from 3 months of age (Gel & UV 3 months+, Spray 12 months+).
The suggested minimum duration for KELO-COTE treatment is between 60 and 90 days. If you notice ongoing improvement after 90 days, you may extend the treatment for your scar. In the case of older scars, it is probable that treatment will need to be continued for more than 90 days.
