Atopiclair is a new, non-steroidal cream that is designed to relieve the symptoms and signs of eczema (atopic dermatitis) and allergic dermatitis (contact dermatitis), and psoriasis.

People with eczema have a weakened skin barrier that makes their skin easily irritated, itchy, and prone to flare up with a red rash.

Atopiclair™ is a unique, clinically proven, non-steroidal treatment that can be used during flare and remission phases of atopic dermatitis (eczema). It is steroid-free, scent-free, and paraben-free, safe even for infants* and relieves itching, burning, and pain associated with the skin condition.

It prevents loss of skin moisture for up to 72 hours and offers longer-lasting hydration by restoring your natural skin oils, easing discomfort, and protecting the skin from future flare-ups. Atopiclair nonsteroidal cream helps to relieve dry, waxy skin by maintaining a moist skin environment, which is beneficial to the healing process.

Clinical trials, in adults and children, have shown that Atopiclair relieves the itch and redness associated with eczema. These studies also demonstrated that patients using Atopiclair were significantly less likely to need a steroid treatment than patients using an emollient base cream.

ATOPICLAIR® can be used alone during remission phases, or in combination with dermocorticoids during inflammatory episodes.

Size: 100ml

Directions: Apply Atopiclair to areas affected by rash and to areas that itch or show other symptoms. Apply 2 to 3 times a day (or as needed). There is no restriction on how long Atopiclair can be used. Atopiclair can be used with other topical medicines.

Key Ingredients:
Glycyrrhetinic acid: Derived from liquorice root and has proven anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties
Hyaluronic acid: Powerful moisturizing properties; retains 1000 times its weight in water for a soothing, moist environment that promotes healing
Key lipids: Including shea butter, with triglycerides and polyunsaturated fatty acids that penetrate the stratum corneum to help restore barrier function

You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use

Does Atopiclair really work?
According to the European Journal of Dermatology:

A 5-week study in 30 adult patients with mild to moderate AD showed that MAS063D offered significant benefits over a vehicle-only control MAS063D improved the total body area affected (17.2% to 13.2%, p<.001), itch score (2.7 to 1.3 on a 10-point scale, p=.001) and EASI score (28.3 to 24.3, p=.024) after 22 days treatment compared to baseline. The patients’ opinion of Atopiclair (patients’ view of itch control, and view of study substance) was rated by participating patients as significantly better than control (p=.008, p=.042, respectively). Based on these preliminary results in a small-scale study, it is suggested that Atopiclair is a possible new treatment option for improving signs and symptoms in adults with mild to moderate AD. (3) No peer-reviewed American studies have been published yet on Atopiclair. Atopiclair has no medically active ingredients–it was approved as a “medical device,” not a medication. Its ultimate utility has yet to be established. However, as large molecules such as those contained in Atopiclair can complex with large amounts of water, it should be able to effectively moisturize the skin or at the very least act as a medical wet dressing

Caution: Like most eczema creams you may experience a burning feeling after applying the cream to broken sensitive and weepy skin. It is the product drawing the blood to the surface to commence the healing process and it's just the nerve endings being sensitive.
