SkinCeuticals Glycolic 10 - Product Review

glycolic moisturiser

Corrective night cream that delivers a true 10% glycolic acid to promote cellular turnover & 2% phytic acid to promote skin clarity and brightness. This potent formulation is complemented with triple action-soothing complex to support the skin barrier.

Proven tolerable for nightly use, to improve the appearance of skin texture and tone, to reveal brighter, more youthful-looking skin.

Emily's Review

After being introduced to the new SkinCeuticals Glycolic 10 Renew Overnight Cream, my skin routine finally feels complete!

I have used many Glycolic solutions before (e.g. originals 7% glycolic solution) which I thought were doing wonders for my skin, but even after using them for a few months at a time I just wasn’t seeing the results I wanted at all.

I have now been using the new Glycolic 10 Renew Overnight Cream which has a free acid value of 10% glycolic. This product is to help with a turnover of skin cells, replenish and refine.

The main reason I have fallen in love with this product so much is that it's a cream. Usually, I slap on anything I can find that is a serum-based product as I tend to find creams too heavy or rich for my skin, but not this time!

I have followed the directions by only using a small pea-size amount at a time to spread evenly over my skin, avoiding my eyes, which actually stopped it from feeling like there's a thick layer on my face and also having to wait until it's absorbed properly.

Secondly, I absolutely LOVE that it's a night application.

You simply apply it onto a cleansed face, jump into bed and let it get to work, penetrating the deep layers of skin cells.

I have always had fairly good skin in terms of being able to use stronger products which contain high percentages of acids or retinols so I started applying this every night from day one. However, it is recommended that you apply it every other night at first and then build it up to every night, just in case your skin doesn’t tolerate the strength of glycolic.

I started to see results between 3-4 weeks. My skin feels brand new!
