Olaplex No4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo - Product Review

OLAPLEX Nº.4P BLONDE ENHANCER TONING SHAMPOO

shampoo

Highly concentrated purple shampoo cleanses, tones, and repairs while keeping hair hydrated from roots to ends. Sulfate-free formula creates a rich lather to neutralize brassiness and boost brightness after one use for all blonde, lightened, and grey hair.

Enriched with the brand’s original Bond-Builder System, the formula works to transform dry, brittle areas into a soft, visibly shiny finish. It helps to enhance manageability, while delivering an illuminating effect. Saturated with highly-concentrated pigments, the best-selling purple shampoo allows you to choose your toning level: the longer you treat, the brighter the results. Suitable for all-over colour, balayage or natural blonde styles.

Review:

Glad I got to try this product as I have highlighted hair that over time does become more ‘brassy’ in colour. This product claims to neutralize brassiness and boost brightening.  Olaplex state it is for blonde, lightened and grey hair so that covers me totally!

I use a lot of styling products in my hair so decided to wash with the Olaplex No 4 Maintenance Shampoo first then applied the Blonde Enhancer Shampoo, left in for a few minutes while in the shower then washed it out. Don’t be scared like me when seeing the colour of the product – dark purple it does wash out!  Finally, I used the conditioner to finish off the routine. It is a bit pricey but a little pea size amount lathers up and goes a long way. After drying I did notice a brighter tone and softer colour. I will continue to use to maintain this colour maybe a couple of times a week between using the maintenance shampoo.

I have been using the Olaplex range for a while now. My hairdresser has noticed an improvement in the condition of my hair. It is no longer dry and in better condition even after regular colouring. Over time I am hoping this Blonde Enhancer Shampoo will help not make my grey roots look so noticeable between colour appointments.
