I would say that my hair is in fairly good condition considering the amount of bleach, heat, and general styling that I've put it through over the years but I would put that down to always getting regular haircuts and whenever I am at the hairdressers I will always opt to have the Olaplex No.1 & No.2 treatments - these are salon only treatments and No.0, No.3, No.4, No.5, No.6 and No.7 are your maintenance products - so I was excited to recreate the salon finish at home, especially whilst we can't get to the hairdressers and I am so in need of a haircut!

You can use it once a week or if your hair is really damaged you can up it to 2/3 times. I dampened my hair slightly and applied the lotion all over my hair from roots to ends and then left it on for around 30 minutes and carried on with my day. You can leave it on overnight if you like but I found my results were just as good leaving it on for a short while and then you don't need to worry about your bedding either.

Afterwards, I couldn't believe how different my hair felt from such a quick, at-home treatment! I even noticed the difference whilst brushing my damp hair - It was so soft and fewer knots! My hair is quite thick so after washing I usually need a lot of hair oil to smooth it out but I hardly needed any this time. It felt so much easier to manage and ever since I've used much less heat, if any, to style it which will help my hair long term...

I personally find that now I have regularly used it weekly for a while that I only need to use it round fortnightly as the results last so long and it's something that I will continue to upkeep as the results are just so good. I've tried so many products over the years but this tops them all so far by miles. I've recently purchased the Olaplex Holiday Hair Fix as well so that I can try more of the brand!
