Polyhydroxy Acids, such as Gluconolactone and Lactobionic Acid are the 2nd  and 3rd generation of hydroxy acids and are designed for sensitive and dehydrated skin. 

They act as gentle exfoliants and are non-irritating while also providing full strength anti-ageing and antioxidant benefits. 

Additionally, PHAs do not make the skin sensitive to sunlight.
