About Dr. Carl Thornfeldt

Dr. Thornfeldt is Founder and CEO of Episciences, Inc., the creators of Epionce.

He has nearly 40 years of experience as a clinical dermatologist and skin researcher, with 22 U.S. patents granted.

Dr. Thornfeldt has published over 50 scientific articles, including textbook chapters focused on cosmeceuticals, drug delivery, natural products, and dermatology.

He has spent twenty-five years focusing on researching abnormalities of the skin barrier, cutaneous inflammation, drug delivery, herbs, and therapies.

Through years of research and treating my patients, I found that repairing the barrier and blocking chronic inflammation has had the most profound effect on ageing and the skin health of my patients. I have spent a lifetime proving the safety and efficacy of our products, and as a private practice dermatologist for many years, I knew it was important to provide this evidence for my peers and patients. Often, I used prescription therapies to help clear conditions, but then relied on Epionce products for daily maintenance and enhanced results.
