Tips & Tricks To Avoid Post-Halloween Skin

- Avoid heavy costume make-up which contains artificial dyes, fragrances, waxes and oils, all of which can clog pores, cause breakouts and irritate skin.

- Carry out a patch test on your skin first just in case of an allergic reaction.

- Protect your skin by applying a protective layer between your skin and the Halloween make-up. A silicone-based moisturiser or primer is ideal - try Oxygenetix moisturiser.

- Don't sleep in your Halloween make-up - it may cause irritation & breakouts.

I would suggest that you double cleanse to try and remove as much make-up as possible. Use a make-up removing cleanser - try Teoxane 3 in 1 make-up remover and then follow with an AHA & BHA cleanser like IS CLINICAL Cleansing Complex to provide a deep exfoliating cleanse.

NOW FOR THE TREAT!

Once all that scary make-up is removed, it’s time to give your skin a treat. A hydrating serum like PCA Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum can be used along with a rich moisturiser like PCA Skin SilkCoat Balm to replenish your skin and leave it looking smooth and rejuvenated.
