FAQ's - Do I use all 3 Acne fighting ingredients at once?

FAQQUESTION:

I suffer with regular breakouts and I have read that using products that contain Retinol (vitamin A) , salicylic acid and glycolic acid can really help.

The question is do I use all 3 ingredients at once?

ANSWER:

Salicylic acid, glycolic acid and retinol are the best products to use to treat acne and Problematic skin.

However maybe not all at once as they are all exfoliating ingredients to help clear the pores,  they may cause to much irritation.  Although if you have rather tough skin it might be ok, but introduce slowly.

Personally I would introduce salicylic acid &  glycolic acid first for a few weeks then add a retinol at night later.

My advice always is introduce products slowly. With using exfoliating ingredients it may get worse before it gets better as you are clearing out your pores.

Just remember stick with it as it can take 6 weeks to see improvement, don't start using something for a week or two and decide it isn't working and stop it. If you start skipping between different products it will make impossible to understand what worked and what didn't work. And once the treatment is working don't stop it as the acne will just come back.

hope that helps
