Eminence Acne Advanced Clarifying Masque - product review

This two-in-one mask and spot treatment utilises potent anti-acne ingredients to treat active acne and prevent future breakouts. Three types of purifying clay combine to absorb oil and reduce shine, while basil oil helps ensure the skin looks calm and less irritated. Use it to treat the entire face and neck or as a spot treatment to restore clarity to your complexion.

Key Ingredients:

  • Encapsulated Salicylic Acid: beta-hydroxy-acid; delivers time-release protection against acne breakouts by encouraging exfoliation and unclogging pores
  • Clay (Montmorillonite Clay, Kaolin Clay, Red Kaolinite): three clays combine to absorb impurities, gently exfoliate and absorb excess oil
  • Sulfur: natural exfoliating benefits to reduce the appearance of acne
  • Basil Oil: natural cleansing properties to help purify and soothe skin’s appearance

Diana's Review

Being an Aesthetic Therapist I find it very difficult to have a facial, I love doing all my treatments but I don’t have the time to receive one as often. I try to incorporate mini facials weekly in my skincare routine, to boost my results. In my mini facial I would have a double cleanse, then I use physical scrub to deeply exfoliate my skin, followed by a mask and sometimes a massage with jade stones.

One of my favourite masks became Eminence Acne Advanced Clarifying Masque, something very different to my cosmeceutical products, but brilliant in the same time. Eminence Organics is the No 1 in Professional Organic Skincare, so if you would like some organic, natural, Biodynamic®, sustainable, and cruelty-free products in your skincare regime, better go for the best ones, they do a good job!

This 2 in 1 masque and spot treatment treats acne and prevents future breakouts, very gentle, not drying or irritating, yet effective. The key ingredient is Salicylic Acid, now we know already how powerful is this Beta-hydroxy-acid when it comes to oily skin, congestion and acne breakouts. It also has clay to absorb impurities, gently exfoliate and absorb excess oil.
In my mini facial I apply the mask on the entire face and leave it to dry for 10 minutes, I love the way it gets into those pores and leaves my skin clearer and fresh. I also use this mask as a spot treatement, and you can use it up to 3 times a day on spots, or even leave it for the night. It has a very light beige colour, so I can apply my Oxygenetix foundation on top if I need to go out, which is allowing my skin to breath while I get the benefits from the mask.
The mask is very light, goes long way, you only need one layer enough to cover your face, smells fresh and green. A slight tingling sensation might occur on active acne, it goes away in few minutes.
Also, there is no water in the product, which makes it more effective.

I started 2020 with new plans, I eat clean, I do more sport, I care about my health more and more and I love the idea of using organic products for my skin as well. I am happy we introduced Eminence Organics in the clinic, our clients love it and I love doing treatments using Eminence products, they just all smell so fresh and yummy!
Now, in these uncertain times with coronavirus isolating us at home, I can suggest you take some time for yourselves and have a mini facial at home, incorporating this masque if you have oily skin, acne breakouts or congestion.
