Step 3 - Pigmentation Lightening Treatments
Our highly effective pigmentation ranges contain cutting edge technology to treat hyperpigmentation without the potentially harmful side-effects of harsh bleaching agents.
Topical lightening agents help to inhibit the production of excess melanin, prevent excess melanin from travelling to the skin’s surface, and breaking up melanin clusters on the skin’s surface to diminish existing discoloration.
Common lightening agents include; Kojic Acid, azelic acid, licorice, sabi white ,mulberry, Vitamin C and Skin brightening peptides. These products need to applied for at least 3 months.
UV exposure from sunlight will invariably worsen any existing pigmentation and promote further pigmentation to arise, so a daily application of sunscreen is a must.
