How they work & Ingredients:
C-Tetra is a revolutionary ultra-stable vitamin C serum which helps combat sun-induced damage to the skin, trigger collagen synthesis, increase the skin’s elasticity and density as well as improve the skin’s texture and brighten the complexion. Contains 3% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorabte, the most potent and highly stable derivative of vitamin C available.Hydr8 B5 Contains skin-softening vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) and moisture-enhancing hyaluronic acid to quench your skin and provide 24 hours of non-stop hydration, pantothenic Acid - improves the moisture-retention capacity of the skin and stimulates skin regeneration and wound healing. It has an anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effect.
Medik8 only use all-trans-retinol, the most bio active form of cosmeceutical Retinol available. Retinol 3TR™ contains 0.3% retinol, for direct application to the skin. It is delivered to the skin in jojoba carrier oil, which has properties similar to those of the skin’s natural oils and contains high levels of vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and vitamin B complex. As with other Medik8 retinol products, Retinol 3 TR is boosted with additional vitamin E in a molecular film base. Medik8 Retinol products use a novel Time-Release system to reduce the level of stinging that is very commonly reported by users of standard retinol products. It works by releasing active molecules over time rather than in one big 'hit'. The skin receives the same dose of retinol per application but spread out over hours not minutes. While people with sensitive skin may still find Retinol produces some stinging at first, the degree of sensitisation is markedly reduced.

What is Micro needle Therapy?
Clinically proven, the Microneedle Skin Roller is an ideal solution for non-surgical and non-ablative treatment of various skin conditions, such as fine lines & wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scarring and hyperpigmentation.
Micro needle roller is a revolutionary device which has the amazing ability to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin without damaging it.
Treatment involves a roller with needles that range from short length (0.2mm, 0.3mm,) for home use and longer length (0.5mm,1.0mm, 1,5mm, 2.0mm) for clinical use.
Roller is a barrel-like roller with 200 tiny micro needles that are thinner than your own hair! When the needles are rolled across the skin, you don’t feel anything but hundreds of microscopic “pin pricks” are created. This stimulation causes the skin underneath, to use your own collagen to fill and soften wrinkles and scars. It has similar results to Laser Treatment, Chemical Peels and Dermabrasion, but it is considerably less invasive and carries only a fraction of the cost.

Directions:
1. Sterilise the Medik8 roller with a sterilising solution and allow to dry before every use.
2. Cleanse face, neck, décolleté or body pat skin dry.
3. Visually divide the skin into sections (forehead, left cheek, right cheek, nose, chin, left side of the neck etc.)
Hold the skin taught and with minimal pressure,using a constant, gentle rolling motion roll 10 times over each skin area.
(It leaves no damage to the skin & no pain during the procedure)

4. After apply your preferred Medik8 Prevent and/or Correct product, following the product instructions.
5. Clean roller with hot water and return to case, dry.
6.Apply Hydr8 SPF25 or a suitable sunscreen the following morning.
Roller should be used at night. Use 2-3 times a week.
Suitable for all skin types and all skin colours.
It can be used on thin skin, and on all areas of the face, neck and body
Use one roller per person.
Replace roller after 3 months of use.

For best results it is recommended that you use the microneedle with topical applications such as antioxidants, peptides,hyaluronic acid and moisturisers. Always wear a sunblock during the day even when it is cloudy.
For optimum results in acne scarring, surgical scars, pigmentation, stretch marks, and cellulite, it is recommended to have a course of deeper treatments done at a clinic with a trained professional as well a using a home kit.

Caution:
Following treatment, the skin will appear flushed.This should subside within a few hours.
Cease use if you develop a skin rash or irritation and resume treatment after skin feels comfortable.
Do not use on the following skin conditions: active acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, actinic (solar) keratosis and raised moles or warts.
Do not use if pregnant.
Do not use if on blood thinning medication or if you are a haemophiliac.
Store out of reach of children.
