STEP 1 CLEANSE - Active-Prep Cleanser 6 fl oz / 180 mL

This product gently cleanses the skin and prepares it for optimal application of skin brightening agents. Antioxidants such as Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract and Hordeum Distichon (Barley) Extract aid in inhibiting oxidative steps necessary for the production of melanin.

STEP 2 Topical Brightening Crème 1 fl oz / 30 mL

This product is clinically proven to brighten skin and diminish the appearance of hyperpigmentation through the use of a proprietary peptide technology (decapeptide-12) developed at Stanford University. Unlike hydroquinone-based products, this formula does not cause irritation and is safe for prolonged use.

Decapeptide-12 helps to regulate overproduction of melanin, within the melanocyte cell, by binding to the tyrosinase enzyme. Tyrosinase is a key enzyme required to initiate chemical synthesis of melanin.

The antioxidants Phenylethyl Resorcinol, Phyllanthus Emblica Fruit Extract y Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) Root Extract create a suboptimal oxidative environment within the melanocyte cell thus slowing the overproduction of melanin.

STEP 3 - Exfolaite GlycoPeel 20 2 fl oz / 60 mL

With a high concentration of Glycolic Acid [20%], this product enhances the turnover of cells for improved natural exfoliation. This lotion also helps to balance epidermal and dermal moisture while creating a more even skin surface and tone.

Removing the stratum corneum further stimulates improved epidermal cellular turnover which can help to clear deposited melanin particles in the various layers of the viable epidermis.

STEP 4 Protect MoistureLock Sunscreen SPF 30 2 fl oz / 60 mL

This product provides broad-spectrum sun protection using a novel micronized titanium dioxide that leaves no pale residue on the skin. Moreover, it incorporates a propriety ingredient, Symhelios 1031™ which provides a second layer of protection by inhibiting penetration of UVB-mediated toxins into skin cells thus preventing degradation of elastin and collagen and further inhibiting oxidative stress.

Patients may experience irritation and redness 2 - 3 days after beginning use of the system. Laser, microdermabrasion and chemical peel procedures may intensify irritation and redness.
• Patients skin may begin peeling one week after beginning use of the system. SilkPeel treatments may also intensify peeling.
• Accelerated cellular turnover of the skin may cause hyperpigmentation to temporarily appear worse as hyperpigmented cells are brought to the surface of the skin faster than usual. Hyperpigmentation will begin to appear diminished as hyperpigmented cells are exfoliated away.
