ANTI-AGING ACCELERATOR
Factor A are cutting-edge technologies that fall into the category known as Retinoids. Retinoids are a group of naturally occuring and synthetic compounds that have a Vitamin A like activity. They play a critical role in skin growth, repair and epithelial cell differentiation.
Factor-A Plus Lotion offers the same cutting-edge technology as Factor-A Cream, combined with the proven benefits of glycolic acid. This combination results in a synergistic formulation that accelerates skin resurfacing and skin rejuvenation.
Size: 29.5 ml
Benefits:
- Resurfaces skin and encourages a dramatically softer, smoother texture
- Assists in evening skin tone
- Aids in preventing, clearing and maintaining problem skin.
Directions:
Suitable for oily skin types
Apply sparingly to face at night after cleansing
Allow to dry before applying moisturiser.
When using Retinol products it is important to apply sunscreen daily spf 20 or above, even on cloudy days.
Recommened to use Factor A products before Factor A plus.
Contains:
2% All Trans Retinol
5% Glycolic Acid
Precaution:
Do not use if pregnant
This product is more potent than factor A. If factor A plus is being used in combination with other products containing glycolic acid, it should be applied a maximum of once or twice a week.
Extremely strong or oily/acne skin may be able to very gradually increase application to nightly frequency.
It is important to allow the skin to acclimate to Retinol products. Start by applying at night only twice during the first week.(leaving 3 days between application). Then in week two increase to applying it every other night. Week three apply it every night. Until week three wait for15 minutes after cleansing before applying.
On any sign of irritation reduce frequency of use until the skin acclimates. If irritation persist, discontinue use.

Precaution:
Products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) may cause initial flaking, tingling and irriation to the skin. For some this may be part of the normal resurfacing process. This improves as the skin ‘gets used’ to the treatment. AHA products may be introduced with less frequent use, and application can be increased as the skin acclimates. At first start by gradually introducing one AHA product at a time into your skincare regime. Also some breakouts may occur initially, due to purging of the follicles.
Discontinue use if you have severe redness, itching, burning, rash, swelling or blistering. -
