Jan Marini Skin Research Bioglycolic Acne Gel contains a revolutionary microscopic sponge encapsulation system to deliver salicylic acid, the medically endorsed acne treatment, with the benefits of glycolic acid. Contains: Glycolic Acid & 2% Salicylic Acid
Glycolic acid resurfaces, while Salicylic Acid purges the skin of bacteria and clears out the pores.

Directions:

Suitable for acne/oily skin

Recommened to begin with with Acne 1 gel , then if required increase to 2 gel.

Apply a small amount to face once or twice daily.
As a spot treatment apply to lesion until clearing is achieved.
Apply every night for the first week, then increasing to twice daily in second week if required. Or alternate with another step 3 product. (darker skin types - apply pm 1st & 2nd week, 3rd week am & pm)
If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
Allow to dry before applying a moisturiser and sunscreen



Precaution:
Do not use if pregnant - this product contains salicylic acid

Products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) may cause initial flaking, tingling or irriation to the skin. For some this may be part of the normal resurfacing process.This generally improves as the skin ‘gets used’ to the treatment. AHA products may be introduced with less frequent use, and application can be increased as the skin acclimates. At first start by gradually introducing one AHA product at a time into your skincare regime. Also some breakouts may occur initially, due to purging of the follicles.
Discontinue use if you have severe redness, itching, burning, rash, swelling or blistering.

Apply a sunscreen daily when using products that contain Alpha Hydroxy acids (AHA's).
