Directions:
Growth Factor Youth Activating Serum has been formulated for twice daily application to the face as part of Medik8 protocol:

Apply 5/6 drops directly to the skin and blend evenly across the whole facial area (avoiding the eyes) and to the neck and decolleté. Leave it to absorb and follow with the application of other Medik8 Correct products as directed by your skincare professional.

While freckles tend to develop in people with fair skin, red or blonde hair, and blue or green eyes, age spots happen
later in life regardless of skin type. But both are caused by an accumulation of melanin in the skin, the pigment that makes us tan. Both will also likely darken in the summer with sun exposure and fade in the winter months.

A Prevention Plan
The best way to avoid these unsightly spots is with a prevention plan. Use a sunscreen with at least a sun protection
factor (SPF) of at least 20 as a part of your daily skin care regimen, and wear protective clothing when outside. Age
spots will concentrate on the backs of the hands, so be sure to apply sunscreen there, as well as your face.

When you do notice freckles or age spots gaining ground, the following options may be beneficial.

Skin lightening treatments

Kojic Acid it is derived from a variety of different fungi and organic substances such a soy and mushrooms. Kojic Acid is one of the most successful and natural skin whitening agents. Studies indicate that kojic acid is more effective than hydroquinone and without irritations or long term complications, which is associated with hydroquinone. It inhibits the production of melanin.Lightening products should be applied for at least 3 months so that the effect can be completed. Used twice a day before applying sunscreen and makeup, it will help fade age spots and freckles.

Exfoliate

Human skin constantly sloughs old dead cells as new ones are produced. With aging, the skin tends to lose some of its ability to eliminate these skin cells. Alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) loosens the glue that holds old skin cells in place. When used regularly, AHA helps eliminate old cells and excess melanin. Many skin care products contain AHAs, but they can also be found in fruits and milk.

Also by adding Vitamin C & E will inhibit the production of melanin, stimulate collagen, has a brightening effect & has the added benefit of it’s anti-oxidant effect.

Tips: applying products – how long do I wait?

I often get asked about how long to wait between applying the various products in a daily skin-care routine. Well the answer is that you don’t have to wait at all unless you personally prefer to wait (with the exception of retinol products).
Your skin can actually handle many ingredients at once. As it turns out, skin is capable of handling a lot, and 99% of the time, any one product in your routine doesn’t get in the way of the others you may be using. Think of it like your diet: whether you eat all of your vegetables at once or take small bites out of them as you enjoy the other food on your plate. Your body is going to get the same nutritional benefits from the veggies in your meal!
More importantly, it is the order in which the products are applied & how the products are absorbed that matters. For example a serum based product is always better applied first, followed by a cream based product.
Exceptions to this rule – Sometimes two different products’ textures just aren’t compatible—they don’t play well together—so waiting between applications for them to dry is best.
Finally, it is important to remember that the performance of any products applied is unaffected by the use and application of any other product.
